We scoured the planet for this week’s Mixtape Monday and found heat from Germany, Canada and Bermuda to make sure your summer is in full swing. All kinds of different flavor for your listening pleasure so dig in!

So Shifty, Summer Ting 2016: Germany’s So Shifty are back at it again with another huge mix that should make the soundtrack to your summer. If you’re not familiar with the team, make sure to look into their catalog of mixtapes and remixes but start with this one that brings wicked mix of dancehall, reggae and afrobeats to the table. You won’t find a typical dancehall mix here where the hottest singles and riddims are juggled in succession, but rather a well thought out and carefully selected track list of dope music. So Shifty tend to dig up a lot of gems that might get past you if you don’t run their mixtapes so do yourself a favor and put this one pon repeat. Stream below:

DJ Giovanni X DJ Skin, Addi: There’s no arguing who the real King of the Dancehall is. Since being incarcerated back in 2014 for murder, Vybz Kartel has released hit after hit from the comfort of his jail cell with new tunes dropping seemingly every other day. Many of these tracks turn into the biggest of club bangers that you were slapping the wall to last night but a lot of them also get passed up or missed based on the sheer volume of songs that he puts out. Here we find a Worl Boss compilation from Canada’s DJ Giovanni with help from DJ Skin that sums up all of the latest Teacha tunes in a well put together mix that will put you in tune with everything Adidja Palmer has released in the past year or so. DJ Rusty G, Carnival Done: Bermuda’s Carnival ended in June so for Bermudians…the party done. Thankfully, there’s a slew of celebrations that continue all over the Caribbean and North America and the next one up and currently in full bacchanal mode is Crop Over in Barbados, a party we’ve been reporting on all month. Bermuda’s Rusty G, suffering slightly from Carnival Tabanca, highlights all the huge soca tracks that lit up Carnival this year and gives us a good idea of what’s to come for Crop Over. Grab this high powered soca mix now and get ready to fete to your heart’s content. Stream and download below:
