With her much delayed sophomore release, The MF Life, now set to drop in May, Guyanese-Canadian songstress Melanie Fiona’s “4 am” single has found itself remixed into a much more club-friendly song featuring fellow Caribbean, Sean Paul. The original “4 am” is a slower, more hypnotizing ballad, featuring a cheating lover with poor Melanie at home waiting (we all know, he must be crazy). The remix draws on heavy house and dancehall influences, with Sean Paul offering a rebellious, but reassuring, response to Melanie’s song. Listen,
