As we recently noted, the Caribbean has an uncanny knack for producing dynamic supermodels. Sunday’s “Caribbean Fashion Rocks” event brought out several of the region’s current crop of top model types to Manhattan’s LQ nightclub, including Jamaica’s Jaunel McKenzie, Carla Campbell and Oraine Barrett and Barbados’s Lene Hall (pictured above with Carla Campbell), not to mention numerous lesser known catwalkers of various flags. The event, which was produced by Irie Jam Media and honored Pulse Models founder Kingsley Cooper, featured designs from Michael Gillings, Rep JA, Niki Chin, Hannah Rhee and Knit Heru, among others. Our man Martei Korley caught some choice moments with his lens.
