As Carnival winds through Trinidad, it can be a bit of a drag for those of us not lucky enough to be in the streets of Port of Spain. Terry Juarez, Soul On Fire – Classic Soca 1995-2009: Soca has come a long way in the past few years with far better production, catchier melodies and an overall improvement in the quality of releases. If you’ve just lately become a fan or you want to reminisce about the good ol days, this is the mix for you. AAA Badboy vs Jus Now, Carnival 2017 (BBC 1Xtra Mix): The UK’s AAA Badboy linked up with Trinidad / UK duo Jus Now to give us a taste of what it might be like pon di road at Carnival this year.
