This week for #MixtapeMondays we head coast to coast and across the pond to Germany with some huge early dancehall and one drop plus an exclusive new roots premiere. Run it below

LargeUp Premiere: Rampage Sound Global, Waiting For The War – Reggae Sequel Vol. 11: We start things off with a World Premiere from DJ Rampage out of NYC who blessed us with his new roots, dub and reggae mix to spread some knowledge and teach di yutes dem. The title is inspired by Daniel “Bambaata” Marley’s Lead single “Waiting For The War” off his upcoming album and also the lead track for this CD. Rampage collected a host of current and rising artists for this mix all inspiring us to open our hearts and minds in this climate of global turmoil. We’re living in some serious times so take a moment to sit back and take this one in today. Stream and download below

Sentinel Sound, Dancehall Foundation Vol. 2: Germany’s Sentinel Sound takes us back in time when dancehall was arguably at it’s nicest via this collection of golden era rewinds. This mix is a piece of nostalgia for longtime dancehall lovers, and  also necessary for new fans who could use some background on it’s beginnings. Look out for timeless pieces from the likes of Garnett Silk, Cocoa Tea, Tony Rebel, Cutty Ranks and many more – gun fingers up right out the gate. Stream below, tracklist and download here.

Broken Silence Sound, Clean and Pure – 2015 Roots Mix: The West Coast’s Broken Silence Sound compiled a nice selection of some of the roots reggae from 2015 that you may have missed. Dancehall gets nuff play in the clubs these days but it’s always refreshing to hear new roots and culture music being played by today’s selectas. Clean and Pure brings all of this years big one drop chunes and slept on cuts to the forefront as we close out the year. Stream below, tracklist here.
