Representing the Jah Ova Evil crew out of Jamaica comes a new artist called Tuff Like Iron with a song also called “Tuff Like Iron.” So consider this one, on Fyakin/ Nyle Banks Music’s Black Roots Riddim, an introduction and a manifesto.
Besides for being an artist, Tuff (aka Brooklyn-born, JA-based Trinidadian Kendra Scanlon) is also a fashion designer and a shop owner. For the video, she takes us inside both sides of her life, from the sewing machine to the studio, with a cameo from the legendary Kiddus I. Run di ting here:
