LargeUp Mixtape Mondays

As we cruise further into the Spring season, we’re sharing a diverse lineup of selections from all corners here at #MixtapeMondays. Run the course below:

Shantonio, Kickout (The Mixtape): Straight up badman business from Kingston, Jamaica’s own Shantonio from the wicked sound like Chromatic. Fluidly blending trap music and general turn-up activity with custom blends of raw dancehall lyrics, this one definitely goes hard from start to finish. Not safe for work so keep in the earbuds til you reach the car then tun it up loud loud loud. Stream and download below:

The Large, Truancy Vol. 114: UK bad gyal The Large – who’s now firmly planted roots in NYC with the Mixpak family – always comes nice with the mixtapes and shells out the goods via her latest guest mix for the Truants series. Following a recent session in Jamaica, the inspiration flows on this tape with dancehall up front and a myriad of underground twists as we’ve come to expect from her. Catch an interview with The Large and pree the tracklist here. Stream and download below:

Klubb Solid, Solid Radio – New To The Old/Old To The New Pt. 2: Sometimes it’s all about a mix that can play at any time of day, night, or decade and just set the vibe right. For the second volume of their classic-meets-modern reggae series, Klubb Solid out in Sweden deliver the recipe with some of our favorite tunes from the past and present in one nice and easy play. They also just dropped a badd dancehall mix as well right here. Stream and download below, tracklist here:
