“Possessed” saw Machel Montano and Kerwin Du Bois take soca back to its roots by enlisting South Africa’s Ladysmith Black Mambazo. The group most popularly known for their work with Paul Simon on the 1986 album, Graceland, lends their soulful harmonies to this ambitious collaboration. Much like its title, the song captivates the listener and encourages them to lose themselves in the moment and all that the artform has to offer.
