You might know Red Fox best from old-school classics like “Pose Off” with Screechy Dan, “Bashment Party” with Rayvon, and “Down in Jamaica” with Naturalee, but the Brooklyn deejay has definitely stayed current current. In fact, he’s been quite prolific of late, dropping “Love Mi Jamaica” with longtime collaborator (and former Ruff Entry Crew cohort) Shaggy, and his own solo tune, “Soulja,” which we premiered right here in May. And look out for his new mixtape, Fiyah Fox, presented by Safari Sound and LargeUp, right here shortly.
In the meantime, Red’s got a brand-new clip for his latest single, “Show Mi Di Wine,” on an up-to-di-time dancehall riddim from Emir “Youthman” Kobilic. In addition to Red, the video co-stars dancer and LargeUp extended family member, Miss Likkle Bit; perhaps you’ve caught her wining pon her headtop at various music festivals around the world, our “Hilltop Bounce” LargeUp TV episode, or the viral video that helped make Mr. Vegas’ “Bruk it Down” a worldwide hit. Likkle Bit definitely does her thing in “Show Mi Di Wine,” and so does Red, dropping some serious lyrics about one of his favorite activities to observe and enjoy.
