PREMIERE: Stylo, Happy Colors & Los Rakas’ Pan-Caribbean Banger “123”

Stylo-Los-Rakas-Happy-Colors

On “123,” Stylo out of the Los Rakas camp in Cali’s Bay Area, and Happy Colors, a fellow producer out of Miami by way of the Dominican Republic, have created a track that is impressively broad in its musical scope. Merengue, dancehall, dembow, trap and lyrics en espanol from Los Rakas’ Raka Dun and Raka Rich are fused together in a cohesive melange of sounds reminiscent of Major Lazer’s Latin-flavored forays into big-room pan-Caribbeanism.

“123” is the lead single from Retrograde, the forthcoming debut EP from Stylo, set for release in the fall. If the rest of the tracks are anything like this one, there should be some serious heat coming. Listen to “123” below and check out “Hablemos Del Amor” for more bashment vibes from Stylo and Los Rakas.
