Pusha T recently traveled to Jamaica to film the video for “Blocka,” his just-issued single featuring Popcaan and fellow GOOD Music artist Travis Scott. Shot in and around Matthews Lane, the garrison community once ruled by the feared don Zeeks, the clip features the usual usual trappings we’ve come to expect when American rappers go down a yard for videos: bandana-covered faces lurking in the darkness, guns and go-go dancers. (To be fair, there’s also kids, higglers and a jerk vendor). It seems that Pusha made the rounds while in JA, so perhaps some more inspired visuals may soon be forthcoming.
