New Caribban Cinema's Ring di Alarm

Fresh off the success of their debut feature Better Mus’ Come, the crew of emerging filmmakers known as New Caribbean Cinema are back with a new feature, Ring Di Alarm. Described as Tales From The Hood meets the Caribbean, Ring Di Alarm collects seven short films from the six up-and-coming directors that make up the NCC collective: Better Mus’ Come director Storm Saulter, Michelle Serieux, Joel Burke, Nile Saulter, Michael “Ras Tingle” Tingling and Kyle Chin.

Fresh off screenings in London, Trinidad and Nottingham, England, Ring Di Alarm has been selected by Imagenation Cinema Foundation to appear in its new Afro-Cinematique series. LargeUp is the media sponsor for the screening, happening Nov. 20, at Imagenation’s Raw Space (2031 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd., between 121st and 122nd streets) in Harlem.
