Back in Green: Snoop Dogg’s ‘Reincarnated’ Trailer

Words by Jesse Serwer—

By now, you’ve probably heard a little something about the album, Reincarnated, that Snoop Dogg has been working on in Jamaica (with Diplo/Major Lazer and other collaborators we’re not yet at liberty to name), for which Vice is also filming an accompanying documentary. While we were off on our own 4/20 mission Friday, it seems that the parties involved took the smokers’ holiday as an opportunity to release a little teaser for the project in the form of a “4/20 message” from Snoop. Though the visuals reinforce what we’ve been hearing about Snoop’s immersion into Jamaican culture (and his re-immersion into the plant he not too long ago vowed he quit), the sound of the project remains a mystery—the clip is soundtracked by “Satta Massagana.”
