Impressions is a new regular photo series offering a quick visual snapshot of Caribbean life.

The parking lot of Jamaica’s National Stadium served as the venue the JARIA (Jamaican Reggae Industry Association)-sponsored soundclash as part of their Reggae Month program. Stalwart sound systems Bass Odessey, Stonelove, Swash International and Renaissance served up the tunes. The format was rated PG, to the surprise of the attendees, with strictly no cursing allowed— which actually put a new spin on things.
