In March we told you about Bob Marley: Making of a Legend, the documentary that Jamaican actress/model/photographer Esther Anderson has made using footage she shot of a young Bob Marley and the Wailers during their formative Burnin’/Catch A Fire period circa 1973. While Marley documentaries are emerging left and right, Anderson, who was romantically involved with Marley at the time, appears to have something unique in the intimate, never-before-seen footage she shot of the future superstar. Shown in Jamaica and London earlier this year as a “work in progress,” the finished version gets its official premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland on June 22. Watch the trailer below.
