Last week soca monarch Skinny Fabulous leaked this ‘making of’ look at the forthcoming video for his massive tune “Duracell” on the Hunny Bunny riddim–built from the same lick of Pulp Fiction surf rock guitar as Major Lazer’s “Hold The Line.” Technically, the video is for the new and improved version called “Duracell Plus” which features soca-monarch-for-life Machel Montano and another bredda raving out in a pink bunny suit to illustrate the whole battery/charged up concept. The song is mad and the video promises to be but if this goes mainstream (like maybe bigger than the Major Lazer jam that inspired it? Funny, right?) then somewhere the advertising genius who came up with the Energizer bunny will be silently weeping at this mockery of his life’s work. Watch after the jump:
