Just in case the news caused you to frown up on Jamaica lately, the boss of all news bosses (the NY Times) ran this travel feature last week, trailing along behind music and resort mogul Chris Blackwell on a personal tour of his Island Outpost properties from Strawberry Hill (above) to the Caves, with a quick pit-stop for red snapper at his favorite roadside eatery. The piece touches on Blackwell’s deep roots on the island and his connection to pioneering tourists like Errol Flynn and Ian Fleming (who’s Jamaican getaway is now the Island Outpost resort GoldenEye)–all familiar stuff to Jamaicaphiles but the payoff of course is the run of lush photos contributed by the veteran team of Trujillo/Paumier. We posted a few below just to remind you why they call it the Land of Look Behind.
