LargeUp Premiere: Jahdan Blakkamoore’s “Ready Mi Gone” Video

Brand new year, man done with the struggling…

Jahdan Blakkamoore eases out into the new year with “Ready Mi Gone,” an upful dancehall anthem embracing positive change. The multi-talented deejay, MC and singer — known for his work with Major Lazer and Smif N Wessun, as well as with his own, NY-based group Noble Society — shows his diversity on the track, a holdover from his latest LP, Order of Distinction, named iTunes’ Best Reggae Album of 2015, among other year-end accolades. The track was produced by PaperStars, the newly-crystallized production duo of Jahdan and long-time collaborator Andrew “Moon” Bain, offering a preview of things to come from the veteran, but always-evolving artist.
