Rewind & Come Again: Shy FX + Liam Bailey’s “Soon Come” Video

We’ve been raving about jungle kingpin Shy FX’s Studio One reggae-inspired “Soon Come” to anyone who’ll listen recently. The delightfully vintage-styled single, featuring vocalist Liam Bailey, is right up there with our favorite songs of the summer. While it was leaked online months ago, the track officially dropped yesterday via Shy FX’s Digital Soundbwoy label, and is now available for purchase on iTunes and other online retailers. Also new this week is a second, even more perfect video for “Soon Come.” Now, the first one, featuring vintage archival footage of Jamaica of yore, was pretty damn cool, too. We love it.

This time around, though, Messrs. FX and Bailey themselves went out and put together a full-on production that truly embodies summertime vibes in video form. Describing this one too much would ruin the fun, all we can say is try and find something capable of “out-summering” this right now.
