Audio: Poirier x Natalie Storm, “Gal U Good (Futura Riddim Remix)”

Words by Jesse Serwer—

LargeUp’s Punany Monologues columnist and all-around dancehall sex symbol Natalie Storm has been laying extremely low of late, but fortunately Montreal’s Poirier has helped keep her voice in the mix, with his recent single “Gal U Good” featuring Natalie on vocals.

Now, French Canada’s electro-bashment don has brought out some additional treatments to the tune, with a four-song remix EP. Alongside new mixes from Estonia’s Bert on Beats (he of the KiT “Jackhammer” remix we brought you earlier today), Astronomar and Chong X, Poirier put Natalie’s vox on a treatment of his own Sleng Teng-inspired Futura riddim. Stream the “Gal U Good” Poirier Futura Riddim Remix here, and sample the EP in the preview mix below.
