LargeUp Premiere: Wayne Wonder’s “Caught Up” Video

Words by Jesse Serwer—

After a fairly quiet six years since 2007’s Foreva album, Wayne Wonder is back with a new video for “Caught Up,” from the upcoming album My Way. The ageless Wonder doesn’t look a day older than he did in “No Letting Go,” nearly a decade ago. Actually, he doesn’t look all that different than when he dropped his all-time classic “The Saddest Day” 20 years ago.

Visually, “Caught Up,” directed by Antwan Smith, whose credits include videos by Rick Ross, Plies, Chris Brown, Flo Rida, Cam’ron and Trina, has something of an “It Wasn’t Me” vibe. Basically, Wayne gets caught up in a love triangle when his two interests arrive at his house at the same time. Even so, good-time summer vibes ensue. Watch it below and look out for My Way, out Aug. 18.
