In an interview with our own Eddie Stats, Stephen Marley revealed that ”Made In Africa” — which features a Wale verse and choirs from the cast of Fela! — was his favorite tune on last year’s Revelation Part 1: The Root of Life, describing it as “an epic sound with the harmonies and Wale’s part–kind of like a movie vibe.” Almost a full year after the LP’s release, “Made in Africa” now has an evocative video to match Marley’s vision. Opening with some Niyabinghi drumming, vintage black-and-white footage of Africa is followed by vivid, colorful scenes of present day Ethiopia.
