The Joyride Party is a new reggae event series at The Standard High Line hotel in NYC. Set at Le Bain, The Standard’s top-floor and rooftop venue, the series brings proper bashment vibes inside one of NYC’s most exclusive venues.
Named for the Joyride riddim, the classic dancehall instrumental, Joyride hosted by Wildcat Ebony Brown and Phillip Leeds, featuring selectors Stretch Armstrong and DJ Gravy. Guests at last month’s inaugural edition at Le Bain included dancehall star Rayvon, actor/singer Sheldon Shepherd of the No-maddz, hip-hop producer LV, artist/model Laney Degrasse and a whole lot of our favorite New York people. Expect the same when the Joyride Party returns Thursday, Aug. 9.
