You might know Martei Korley as LargeUp’s creative director and photographical don dada. In his other life, he’s a singer. Check the resume.
For his latest release, he’s teamed with the versatile singjay Jahdan Blakkamoore to deliver the vibes called “Shine.” Though lyrically this is a tune fi di ladies, as Jahdan lets us know straight off the bat, musically it’s a departure from Martei’s usual Lovers Rock sound, with producer Alex Valenti (One Vibration) bringing in some dreamy synths and trap drums for a future-is-now sound.
Check the tune here before it drops Friday on iTunes, and let Martei shine some light inna your life.
