If you’ve been following soca for the past handful of years, you’ve no doubt witnessed a major shift in the audio landscape from traditional rhythms into more electronic territories. Few understand and fuel this movement more than Major Lazer and Trinidad’s own Jillionaire, LargeUp family since day one. As a proud T&T native and world-class DJ, Trini Chris has been carefully studying the science and relationship between the Caribbean and EDM lanes, finding new ways to incorporate and marry the two worlds, whether on the road or in the studio. Every now and then, when he isn’t tied up gracing some of the biggest stages in the world, Chris takes a moment to hit the boards and cook up some exclusive remixes for Carnival season.
