Double Dose: Haunted Reggae from Addis Pablo + King Mas

Words by Midnight Raver

Addis Pablo and King Mas bring the killer chiller with “RFID Chip” and “Zombie Apocalypse,” a double-dose of “reality music” from Royal Order Music out just in time for Halloween. King Mas assails Babylon on “Zombie Apocalypse,” casting its sordid cast of characters as bloodthirsty zombies in a brilliantly constructed “tale from the crypt.” Pablo’s “RFID Chip” is a melodica-driven dread walk amongst the living dead – a haunting 2 minutes and 41 seconds of bottom-heavy, head-knocking dub reggae inspired by the latest modern fear. Stream both tracks below, get to know Addis Pablo in our Meditations video series, and check out our Toppa Top 10 countdown for more “haunted” reggae and dub.
