When the big man DJ Craze first told me about how he’d been flipping some new and classic reggae anthems with the help of fellow 305 rep and LargeUp family Corey Chase – I immediately knew that big trouble was on the horizon. Soon enough the inbox was blessed, and these have been priceless secret dubs in my DJ sets all summer long – at least they were secret up til now. With the Ital Refixes Corey and Craze bravely dig into beloved reggae classics including Sizzla’s “Praise Ye Jah“, Dennis Brown’s “Revolution“, Super Cat’s “Under Pressure” and Chronixx’s “Here Comes Trouble“. Definitely a tall order to fill but the guys do each of the tunes justice and will electrocute any dancehall – trust.
