Fresh back in Jamaica after trodding inna England and Trinidad this summer, Dre Island is definitely an artist on the move. Among other things, the “Rastafari Way” singjay is prepping his debut album, Project Now I Rise, for a January 2016 release through E5 Records.
But first there is the breezy, island-pop single “My Love.” Mr. Island brings a softer touch on “My Love,” crooning for di gyal dem on E5/Mini and The Fanatix’s Love Life riddim, which also features tracks from Popcaan, Konshens, Bugle, Tifa and Beenie Man.
