Pressure Busspipe gives us the first taste of his upcoming album with producer (and King Jammy scion) Baby G. The LP, which also features guest appearances from Damian Marley and Tarrus Riley, is due out later this year on Baby G’s Yard Vybz label.

Released yesterday on Pressure’s Earthstrong, “Africa Redemption” is a VI x JA link-up on the vocals, featuring the most buzzed-about reggae artist these days, Chronixx, fresh off his TV debut on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and his lauded, over-capacity performance at NY’s Central Park SummerStage. Pressure himself is coming off of a strong showing with his recent I-Grade Records LP The Sound, produced by Zion I Kings. This feelgood track features what sounds like a sample of a kora, the West African harp instrument, over a downtempo, laid-back hip-hop beat, a sparse arrangement that provides ample space for the two singers to shine.

Stream the tune below or buy it on iTunes now. Let us know what you think of the track in the comments below.
