Still riding the wave of success from his excellent single “Diamond Sox”, Iba MaHr is back with another roots-heavy summer scorcher sure to find forwards at a bashment near you.
Recently premiered on David Rodigan’s BBC program, “Glory to the King” lays a bass-heavy, mid-tempo groove under Iba MaHr’s passionate and energetic praises to the most high. Produced by Jah Yzer out of San Francisco, the track finds the roots reggae revivalist at the top of his game, giving us all the more reason to keep an eye on this seasoned, but still-rising talent making waves within Jamaica and beyond.
The track is now available on iTunes through Royal Order Music, the label behind this year’s Cultivator Riddim, as well as the reggae-revival summit “Selassie Souljahz” and Gappy Ranks’ “Carpenter,” among other top recent releases.
