Impressions: International Reggae Day

Words by LargeUp Crew, Photos by Richard Maitland—

LargeUp teamed with BIG Magazine and Miss Lily’s to celebrate International Reggae Day July 1. Broadcasting live over RadioLily.com, LargeUp’s DJ Gravy held down the sounds, while dancehall great Nardo Ranks, Japanese melodica player Anna I and LargeUp’s own Martei Korley performed live, and guests including Tifa, Miss Pat of VP Records, artist Isis Swaby, model/Miss Belize Chantae Guy, and designers Greg Burke and Brent Rollins passed through. Photographer Richard Maitland snapped a few pics.

Click here to scroll through, and tune back into RadioLily tonight for the return of The LargeUp Sessions after several weeks off. Hosts Jesse Serwer, Jah Banks and Kieran Meadows will be back with Echo Slim filling in for DJ Gravy, and a guest set from Dubai’s Dany Neville.
