Kabaka Pyramid is about to be everywhere this summer. California’s Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Reggae Summerjam in Germany, Rototom Sunsplash—you can find Kabaka’s name on the bill at nearly every one of the season’s big reggae fests.
But first we’ve got him here on LargeUp, dropping his latest video for “Liberal Opposer,” from his recent Lead the Way LP. The gritty tune features Kabaka’s nimble flow, militant lyrics and melodic hook over a hip-hop flavored track from Green Lion Crew. For the video, Kabaka teamed with director Jason Lannaman, while he was out in Europe for his Spring Lead the Way tour in April. Catch the world premiere right here:
