Cham—he’ll always be Baby Cham to us—doesn’t release new music as much as his peers, so you know when he does put something new out, it’s going to make a splash. His latest tune with his wife, O, “Bend Down” is sure to make an impact similar to the couple’s previous collabs like “Tun Up” and “Wine.” The track, produced by Coppershaun and Cham’s Lawless Music, combines two of the prevailing trends in dancehall right now—slack lyrics directing females to wine/bubble/bounce, and EDM-influenced production—so you know selectors are going to be rinsing this backwards and forwards. (And, in fact, they already are).
For the video, Cham and O headed to a scrapheap where, of course, they found some dutty dancers—of all shapes and sizes— amidst the wrecked rides. The human-sized hamster wheel—last seen at Major Lazer’s live show—also makes an appearance. Watch the exclusive premiere right here:
