Fashion Fridays: Basquiat x Reebok

Words by Eddie STATS Houghton, via FreshnessMag

As part of their Affili’Art series, Reebok recently unveiled five limited edition designs featuring the artwork of painter and style icon Jean-Michael Basquiat. Scrawled chalk-tags from the painting “Discography (One),” the jazz motifs of “Trumpet” and the signature crown symbol that was ubiquitous in the work of Basquiat (who was half-Haitian and Puerto Rican and all Afro-cubist) now adorn these special versions of Reebok’s Top Down, Court Victory Pump and Omni Pump Lite models. Find them at select retailers (like Kix Files and Mr. R Sports) and get tons more pics after the jump.
