Although a straight dancehall vocal–as opposed to some of Ms. Storm’s forays into electro and r&b–the cut has a natural UK Funky tempo, founded as it is on British producer Sticky’s Jumeirah riddim. Meanwhile, the good people of team-Storm over at Mixpak records have also been generating hype for an upcoming tour of the Northeast with a remix contest, handing out the accapella for “Look Pon Me” to all comers.
