With Halloween past and gone and election day approaching tomorrow in the states (you know what to do!) it’s time to VOTE out the duppies and vampires.. and partake in some real reggae music in the meantime.

DJ Vadim, Autumn Roots Mixtape: With autumn fully at our doorstep it’s a pure pleasure to include the latest ting from the likes of DJ Vadim on this week’s roundup. A true roots rocker and certified veteran in the mixtape arena on all fronts, Daddy Vad stays out there fighting the good fight, backed with a selection of never-ending crates and positive energy. Roots, dub and dusty dancehall combine on this one with vibrations from Lloyd Parks, Gregory Isaacs, Alborosie, Gentlemans Dub Club, Sluggy Ranks and more.

Binnie Smalls, Di Mash Up Mixtape: Now in comes the ting called Di Mash Up Mixtape by Swedish deejay/producer Binnie Smalls. Binnie has been low-key distributing some serious heat in the dancehall DJ circuit with her wicked bootlegs and remixes the last couple of years, and compiled a heap of new blends and edits for this custom mix. If you love the marriage of classic hip hop and dancehall this is a real no brainer. Stream below, tracklist here.

Shotz The Selectors Choice, Capleton Edition: London’s own Shotz The Selectors Choice returns with another artist tribute mix, this time dedicated to the original fire man. Capleton has endured a lengthy career of iconic hits and underground classics spanning decades, and Shotz collects a nice chunk of material right here from the big tunes to the b-sides. Fiyah a go bun dem! Stream below, tracklist here.
