#MixtapeMondays goes worldwide once again with entries from the UK, Switzerland and Canada. A history lesson on two of dancehall’s all time top artists, a new roots reggae mix and a dancehall, afrobeat, hip hop and soca collaboration round out our selections for this week so get right to it.

Shotz, The Selectors Choice – Ninja Man vs Super Cat Edition: If you grew up on 90s dancehall you’ll know that Ninjaman and Super Cat are two of the baddest DJs to come outta Jamaica and the two artists were known for their clashes early in the decade. Here we find Shotz outta the UK giving credit where credit is due to these two massive artists. Although most dancehall heads can name a chune or two from the “Don Dadda,” Super Cat,”The Original Front Teeth Gun Pon Teeth Don Gorgon” Ninjaman often gets over looked and is sometimes forgotten. Do the knowledge and download this mix to stay up on your dancehall history and all of the huge hits these two legendary artists blessed us with. Stream and download below.

Lukie Wyniger, Something To Hold On To – Roots Reggae Mix 2017: Every time our breddren Lukie Wyniger, aka Uncle Pengpeng, drops a new mix it’s certain to be fiyah and Something To Hold On To is no exception. This time he hits us with a mix of brand new Roots Reggae sprinkled with some wicked dubplates from the likes of Bugle, Jahmiel, Christopher Ellis, Protoje and Jae Prynse. It’s not easy to find brand new top notch roots and culture but all the boom shots are laid out here for your listening pleasure. Stream below.

Arems, Hoppa & Real West, New Level: Summer is just around the corner and we’re getting ready to celebrate with this brand new mix of all the genres we always enjoy. DJs Hoppa, Real West and myself got together to drop this promo mix for an up coming boat cruise party we’re throwing and the results came out real nice. You’ll find a mixture of big chunes you’ll know and love blended with the newest dancehall, afrobeats, hip hop and soca to just hit the streets. This mix should have you covered for all the sunshine to come. Stream below and download here.
