Today is a major holiday in the US and if you don’t find yourself at a BBQ or body of water of some kind amongst friends and family then you’re doing something wrong. Either way we’ve got an extra large stack of mixes this week to help you celebrate wherever you may be.

Private Ryan, Dancehall Starter 2016 – Preview to Summer: It only seems right that we pop off a big summer holiday with T&T’s #1 mixtape ambassador cutting the ribbon. Throughout every fete of every season DJ Private Ryan has the soundtrack to spark the occasion and set the trend for the coming months. On this round it’s strictly raw and uncut new dancehall singles and riddims from the islands straight to you. Stream below

Jugglerz, Power Up: Easing back on the energy a bit we slide over to Germany to link with the big bad Jugglerz sound for some straight reggae, one drop and culture. Meska and Shotta Paul have never been known to slouch when it comes to all the latest tunes and bubbling new artists from JA and throughout Europe, and share some of their favorite new roots selections on Power Up. Green B, Fever Summa 16 Dancehall Mixxx: Just to make absolutely sure you’re up on all the necessary dancehall gwaanings right now, the Bay Area’s DJ Green B has you covered with her latest bashment mix. Summertime settings from start to finish with over an hour of big tunes originally aired on her semi-regular slot on Sirius XM’s Dancehall Saturday Night show. Dubbel Dutch, Rare Earth Poems: Sealing things up with some futuristic settings from outside of this stratosphere courtesy of the one Dubbel Dutch – a DJ/producer responsible for some of your favorite records and some of our favorite mixes over the years. Rare Earth Poems is an instrumental testament to Dutch Dubs’ soundscape, weaving chromed-out dancehall versions through a lens of club, r&b and bass music. He produced everything on this mix and it’s simply stunning. Stream below
