LargeUp Mixtape Mondays

Back in the Bay after returning from my wedding and an equally blessed honeymoon in Negril, it’s Deejay Theory here checking in once again from the #MixtapeMondays towers. This week we’ve got two big exclusives, and a whole heap of dancehall, classic roots and dubplates to get your Monday morning in gear.

LargeUp Premiere: Serani, Fvck Summer: We haven’t heard a whole lot from gyal-favorite dancehall singer Serani lately, but he comes fully loaded for the summer with a stacked new mixtape premiere right here. The uncensored excursion runs through a heap of new tunes from the artist and friends plus some skits from Twin of Twins and Foota Hype and specials to seal it up. Stream and download below:

LargeUp Premiere: Rampage Sound Global, Throw The Comb Away: Setting the vibe right from the jump with the latest offering in the Reggae Sequel mix series from DJ Rampage and the Rampage Sound Global fam. Hot off the presses Throw The Comb Away titled off of Exco Levi’s cover of the Twinkle Brothers original covers a dread and terrible combination of quality new roots reggae and dub for your earbuds. Stream and download below

Heatwave Sound, Xxtra Hard: Closing out the week with vintage sound system greatness courtesy of Kingston’s Heatwave Sound operated by iconic reggae and dancehall producer Bobby “Digital” Dixon aka Digital-B. Dig into a stack of timeless dubplates from the likes of Buju, Shabba, Bounty, Sizzla, Charlie Chaplin, and of course steady Digital-B artist Garnet Silk.
