Jamaica’s most accomplished jazz pianist will stop by RadioLily.com to talk his upcoming album, Harlem Kingston Express 2, and his weeklong string of dates at the Blue Note in NYC, including Saturday and Sunday’s shows with Chronixx and Ernest Ranglin.
The multi-generational trio—Chronixx is 21, Ranglin is 82, and Monty’s somewhere in between—will be presenting a performance they’ve titled A History of Reggae and Jamaican Music.
