No shortage of quality vibes this week at Mixtape Mondays with a huge lineup from around the globe. Dancehall and dubplates from Switzerland and Sweden, rude boy bass from LA and two necessary roundups from London round out the ting. Let’s get right into it.

Goldrush International, Dancehall Fraternity Vol. 2: The Swiss hammer Wildlife! is back at it again under his throwback sound system moniker Goldrush International. His Dancehall Fraternity mixes are pure fire, dishing out nonstop up-to-the-time bashment business from front to back — a slight sidestep from his original productions on labels like Mixpak, Man Recordings and Enchufada. This volume goes just as hard as the last, leading off with Popcaan’s latest party anthem “Unruly Rave” and then unloading over an hour of straight shellings. So badd. Steve1der, Murderation: Los Angeles-based rude boy Steve1der has been busy in the lab as of late, collaborating on this gigantic cutty ranks flip w/ our homie Jayceeoh, and now popping off this nickel plated mixtape of strictly reggae-meets trap madness. This is a concept I’ve been meaning to touch myself, thankfully it’s been done proper by this well-seasoned selector and the result is pure murderation. You can’t escape the current 808 and trap music phenomenon that’s sweeping the globe, and as expected it’s sinking it’s grill into reggae and dancehall circles same way. This mix ties it all together and will definitely raise some some eyebrows and gun fingers in the workplace. Stream and download below, tracklist here

Safari Sound x Rough Lynx x Million Vibes, 100% Swedish Steel: Bumbaaa…… Huge 100% dubplate mix from the toppa top of Swedish sounds, Safari, Rough Lynx and Million Vibes. They’ve combined their soundkilling machines for this rare unification bout — in the vein of the historic Federation vs. Solomonic unity mix — to celebrate each team marking their 10 year anniversaries in the soundclash, juggling, mixtape, promotion and all around reggae and danchall business. The tape is cut into a segment from each sound, showcasing dub boxes from past to present with nuff feel good reggae and foundation to remind you this one is for the love and strength. Anyway, there will be plenty more tin pan soundboys to slaughter in the next decade… Stream and download below, tracklist here.

The Heatwave, Gyal Power: Our folks over in London at The Heatwave have been as busy as ever  running the show with new remixes, massive parties, and of course a steady flow of quality mixtapes. Two big new mixes on deck here, the first is a ting call Gyal Power highlighting what it takes to be a dancehall diva in this cut-throat and male dominated industry. As you may have noticed from our own bad gyal column Punany Monologues with Natalie Storm, the ladies are just as capable of flexing raw x-rated material in the booth and the bedroom. The mix features 100% female artists from throwback to current, making it very clear that the dancehall is very much a home for the gyals as well. Stream and download below, tracklist here

*Bonus – The Heatwave, Jamaica Settings: Definitely need to mention that our UK correspondant Gabriel and the team made a voyage to Jamaica last month, and  upon their return recorded this mix as a report from the field on the tunes that are running the island right now. Some expected anthems and a few surprises, slow wines and raving essentials, plus brand new tunes from the world boss voiced from behind bars. Stream and download below, tracklist here
